The Joy-Filled Wife

Dawn Reeves

What does marriage look like in the light of our daily walk? We know what the Bible says about marriage, but how do we walk it out in the day to day stress of jobs, child rearing, in-law relationships, and different backgrounds? Add to that all the differences in how men and women relate, communicate, and handle stress! Join us as we laugh, cry, and dig into the light of God’s word to find joy and contentment in marriage because the content of contentment is Jesus.

Sermon on the Mount

(study by Jan Wilkin)
Elizabeth Vinson & Nan Pastusek

In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right – a study on blessedness, a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer, a meditation on lilies of the field. But what if we navigated these three chapters as they were originally heard: as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification? This study led by Jen Wilklin does just that. Seat yourself on a mountainside to learn at the feet of Jesus. Ask for ears to hear and a heart to respond to the teaching of our King.

Precepts Overview of Colossians

Diane Reed and Becky Johnson
Colossians is filled with rich and abundant treasures of truth—treasures that will keep us from error if we give ourselves to diligent and careful study. As you begin this course, stop and count the cost. If you don’t do it now, you will not be prepared for Satan’s subtle allurements, devices, distractions, deceptions, and discouragements which will slip in to keep you from completing this study. The message of Colossians exposes what is going on in Christianity today and causes you to focus on the source of all life; therefore, the enemy of your soul wants to keep you ignorant of the wonderful mystery revealed in this book. What does it mean to be “complete in Christ”? Is Christ your “all in all” – does He meet all your needs? Don’t let anyone delude you with man-made philosophies or traditions that contradict the Word of God. That’s the message of the book of Colossians. So whatever it may cost in the way of discipline to stay with this study, do it. We guarantee you that it will be worth the effort!

Precepts Ezekiel

Rita Parker & Susie Swafford

Precepts uses an inductive study method, teaching you how to break down Scripture for yourself. Layering Scripture upon Scripture. Digging deeply into the Word, helping you to discover the hidden “Easter Eggs” in God’s Word.

The book of Ezekiel is a prophetic study showing how God appointed Ezekiel as a watchman to warn his people of coming judgment. Seeing visions and performing signs, he called individuals to turn from wickedness to righteousness because God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

This is a full year study. **NEW LADIES ARE WELCOME TO JOIN IN THIS SPRING SEMESTER

The Power of God’s Names

study by Tony Evans

Ginger Illami and Libby Griffin

In biblical times, names communicated a person’s essence – their history, nature, or character. That’s why God revealed Himself by dozens of different names in Scripture. No single name could convey the fullness of His character and works. In this study, pastor Tony Evans examines prominent names of God in Scripture. God’s names invite you to know Him as Creator, Ruler, Provider, Warrior, and more. Dr. Evans explores the biblical meanings of the names and the related attributes of God. By understanding His names, you can experience Him more deeply.

Who Is The Holy Spirit?

(study by Sinclair Ferguson)

Kathryn Barns in Denton

Although the Holy Spirit is sometimes the forgotten Person of the Trinity, His presence and work is found throughout redemptive history. In this twelve-message series, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson traces the work of the third person of the Trinity through Scripture—from creation to the work of Christ to His dwelling in our hearts today. Along the way, he sheds light on the vital role the Holy Spirit serves. Dr. Ferguson’s goal is to help us know the Holy Spirit as a person, in addition to knowing of His power and work within us.
